CompressPixel Compress video

Discord video compressor

Compress video for Discord.

Free Discord accounts can upload files up to 20 MB (Discord raised it from 10 MB in August 2026). Drop your gameplay clip or meme here and CompressPixel fits it under the limit so it uploads and plays inline, no Nitro needed.

Best settings for game clips

Fast-moving gameplay needs more bits. For clips longer than about a minute and a half, CompressPixel will drop to 720p automatically, which keeps motion smooth. Removing sound saves a little extra room if the clip does not need it.

Questions

Does it work for Discord Nitro limits too?

Yes - choose Custom size and enter the limit for your plan.

Are my videos uploaded anywhere?

No. CompressPixel compresses the video inside your browser using your own device. The file never leaves your computer or phone, which also means there is no upload wait.

Why is it so fast on some devices?

Modern browsers can use your device's built-in video encoder (the same hardware your phone uses to record). When that is available CompressPixel uses it automatically. Older browsers fall back to a slower compatibility engine.

Which formats work?

MP4 and MOV (including iPhone HEVC videos), WebM and most other phone and camera videos. The result is always an MP4 (H.264 + AAC), which plays everywhere.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no limit set by us. Very large files (several GB) depend on how much memory your device has; a laptop handles more than an older phone.
