Email video compressor

Compress video for email.

Gmail allows 25 MB per email and Outlook usually 20 MB. Anything bigger gets turned into a Drive or OneDrive link, which many recipients cannot open. Compress the video here so it attaches like a normal file.

Gmail vs Outlook attachment limits

Gmail lets you attach up to 25 MB in total per email. Outlook.com and most Microsoft 365 work accounts allow 20 MB. If you are sending several attachments, pick Custom size and leave room for the other files.

Sending to support teams and insurers

Support desks often ask for a video of a fault, and their ticket systems frequently reject large attachments. Compressing to under 20 MB is the safest choice for help desks and claim forms.

Questions

Are my videos uploaded anywhere?

No. CompressPixel compresses the video inside your browser using your own device. The file never leaves your computer or phone, which also means there is no upload wait.

Why is it so fast on some devices?

Modern browsers can use your device's built-in video encoder (the same hardware your phone uses to record). When that is available CompressPixel uses it automatically. Older browsers fall back to a slower compatibility engine.

Which formats work?

MP4 and MOV (including iPhone HEVC videos), WebM and most other phone and camera videos. The result is always an MP4 (H.264 + AAC), which plays everywhere.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no limit set by us. Very large files (several GB) depend on how much memory your device has; a laptop handles more than an older phone.
